Public Sector organisations have a duty of care to ensure Vulnerable groups are protected. Criminal record checks help these organisations make more informed recruitment decisions about candidates.
Health Service

Legislation is constantly changing. Disclosure Services will guide you through the disclosure process for new recruits and existing staff. Criminal record checks can only be requested by organisations that meet the eligibility criteria to ask the Exempted Question under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Self Employed people and individuals cannot apply for either a Standard or Enhanced criminal record check.
