Access NI

Enables organisations in Northern Ireland to make more informed recruitment decisions by providing criminal history information about anyone seeking paid or unpaid work in certain defined areas, such as working with children or vulnerable adults. AccessNI was established by a joint programme between the Northern Ireland Office, the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, the Department of Education and the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSSIW)

Disclosure Scotland is a service designed to enhance public safety. We provide potential employers and voluntary sector organisations with criminal history information on individuals applying for posts. Our services provide employers, voluntary sector organisations and those in their care, with disclosure information, to assist in the recruitment decision, helping protect the vulnerable. Some employers will be under an obligation to seek disclosures on potential employees. Typically, these will be positions which involve working with children.
